Step-by-step help for using natural family planning. We heard about kariva birth control method before we got married and relied on the information in kariva birth control book to avoid pregnancy for the first three years of marriage.
Later, when we were ready to have our first baby, we used the method to conceive. We are considering having a third child and if we do, will use the method “in reverse” again.
We have never spend any money on birth control — something that mattered very much when we were both poverty-striken graduate students. We also have no health concerns using a natural method.
We both recommend natural family planning — and kariva birth control book — very highly
Very Pleased. kariva birth control is a really exciting approach to natural family planning. The writing is clear and informative, and there are lots of charts and illustrations to help convey the information. The book has a lot of scientific information but doesn’t read like a dry, clinical, manual.
You’ll know when you can get pregnant and when you can’t.. I haven’t used any contraceptives whatsoever in over 7 years, thanks to what I learned from reading kariva birth control book.
I think that the information here is clearer and easier to follow here than in T. Wechler’s Taking Charge of Your Fertility, which is also a good book. Still, kariva birth control one remains my favorite.
Not only do I recommend kariva birth control book here, but I’ve put my money where my mouth is: I’ve given 5 copies to different people in the past several months.
I’m pleased to have kariva birth control opportunity to tell more people about a natural alternative to contraception
Highly readable guide to USING natural birth control. This is the only book I’ve read that understands that if the subject is pregnancy, a living, breathing MAN might — just might — be involved!!
In addition, Nona Aguilar offers detailed, step-by-step instruction in using natural family planning guidelines to identify the woman’s fertile time. This is crucial information, whether you want to have a baby (then you know exactly when to make love) or must avoid pregnancy (so you need to know when to defer love-making.)
Besides this important self-knowledge and information, before reading “The New No-Pill, No-Risk Birth Control,” I never once thought about the psychological ramifications that different birth control methods can have on a couple’s relationship. The psychology of family planning is rarely, if ever, discussed in anything I read.
This book is the screaming exception.
If a woman is wholly responsible for a couple’s birth control, there is one psychological dynamic that can develop between the husband and wife. If a man assumes all the responsibiliby, there’s another. Obviously, if a couple SHARES the responsibility, which is necessary for natural family planning to be effective, quite a different — and wonderful — dynamic can develop in a couple’s love relationship.
“Can develop….”
kariva birth control doesn’t necessarily develop.
That’s the other thing I like about this book: Nona Aguilar shoots straight, sugar-coats nothing — after all, some people really don’t want SHARED birth control — but withal builds a compelling case for sharing.
“The New No-Pill, No-Risk Birth Control” is a first-rate self-instructional guide to the sympto-thermal method of natural family planning. The method is highly reliable; poses no health risk for either the man or the woman; poses no risk to future fertility.
Besides the solid instructions, the book is provocative. Its six chapters on the psychological ramifications of using natural methods versus contraception are mind-expanding. I wish I had had the information — and the insights — from this book years ago.
And everyone who reads “The New No-Pill, No-Risk Birth Control” on my recommendation tells me the same thing.
Definitely worth reading, even if you’re only WONDERING whether natural family planning might be for you. Knowing how your body works is for every woman
Used this to conceive!. My body and mind have never been in sync, so this book was a real eye-opener for me! Easy to follow and logical. We used this book in conjunction with a series of Clomid and both feel we scored a hit (and a gorgeous baby boy!) almost first try because we used both in conjunction. kariva birth control also saved my husband’s energy!! We shall use kariva birth control again (in reverse, like another reviewer) when we’re ready for our second.
At last! 100% safe, reliable, NATURAL birth control. I used to give sex ed instruction and this book could have been my bible. kariva birth control explains everything a woman needs to know about her fertility so that she can make intelligent decisions about how and when to get pregnant OR how to avoid pregnancy. Highly readable. I read kariva birth control in less than a weekend
an overview. This book is okay as an overview, but I would never use just kariva birth control as a guide for Fertility Awareness.
Get Toni Weschler’s book – much more in-depth & more examples.
A concise, informative book. My husband and I decided that we no longer wanted to use artificial birth control for health reasons. kariva birth control book really took us step by step into the Natural Family Planning Method. The book was very easy to understand and extremely informative. I have recommended kariva birth control book and kariva birth control method to every married couple that I know. kariva birth control book should be required reading for every married couple, because Natural Family Planning is a healthy, inexpensive way to delay parenthood, and kariva birth control book explains the method clearly.
Effective ‘Breastfeeding Birth Control’. I can’t say that I’ve used all of the information in kariva birth control book just YET.
I am writing a review because I have used the advice contained in kariva birth control book that explains all of the ‘necessary conditions’ for using breastfeeding as a method of birth control.
Well, for me, kariva birth control was a ‘leap of faith’. I knew I did not want to take the pill, and also that I did not want children closer than nine months apart! So, in addition to the advice that is given in kariva birth control book, we also used condoms for the first two or three months after birth(s), and ‘the rest’ has worked great for spacing each of my 3 children 3 years apart.
This is definite reading for every married couple, but especially every woman that does not want to take the pill (especially while breastfeeding).
Great book. I found this book in a Salvation Army and I’m glad I bought it! The info in this book (and my mom’s advice) has helped my husband and I remain childless for a whole year -hopefully kariva birth control will work for a couple more years as we finish college. My husband and I love the method! I would recommendto anyone. We have never supplemented the method with any other form of contraceptive.
EVERY woman should read kariva birth control book! Must-have information!.
This book should be required reading in every sex-ed class. Toni Weschler clearly, frankly and precisely explains how a woman’s fertility works, where things can go wrong, and how to (and not to) get pregnant.
I have loaned kariva birth control book to every woman friend I have, and will continue to do so. I will definitely buy it for my future children (who will be conceived using the information in the book!)
AMAZING!!. I can’t believe how much I didn’t know about my body! I was so interested in what this book had to say: I couldn’t tear myself away from it. I feel very strongly that kariva birth control will help in our efforts to have a child.
This book is very detailed, every question is answered.. This book is really fantastic. There was a chart for everytype of “what if” question you may have. The book focuses on the FAM method (Fertitily Awareness Method). Unlike other books on the subject, which I have read several, this book actually gave me answers and showed me exactly what my chart would look like in every type of circumstance (such as having a fever, not ovulating, traveling, breastfeeding, pregnant, miscarriage, etc.) Plus kariva birth control gave me very detailed answers about how to figure out if you may be a person that will have problems conceiving so that you know when to rush to the doctor’s and when to just relax. kariva birth control is really a great book for anyone who wants to have a baby or wishes to try a natural method of birth control.
You need to read this book if…. 1) You’re a woman trying to concieve OR hoping to prevent an unplanned pregnancy,
2) You’re a woman with cyles that run like clockwork OR if they seem more like Haley’s comet, and
3) You’re a woman between the ages of let’s say 15 and 55.
If you answered Yes to any of these three categories, you MUST READ this book.
I can’t believe that after 16 years of having no idea if or when my period would show up, I finally understand the signals my body has been sending me all along. I am eternally grateful to Toni Weschler for writing this book and I recommend kariva birth control to all women.
This book should be required reading for all women!. This book gives an indepth look at the female body. All the things that you needed to know about your body years ago but didn’t is in this book. I have checked this book out of the library so many times that I finally decided that kariva birth control was time for my own copy. It’s just a great book!
A must-read for anyone who is trying to get pregant!. To any woman who is unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant, please read kariva birth control book before starting any infertility treatment! I had no idea how to detect ovulation until I read kariva birth control book. And, I feel more confident about myself since I thoroughly understand my cycle. My cervix is only open for a very short time, but I have been able to conceive three times!
Great Book. This book is so informative and has been a great reference for me. The layout is easy to follow, and the writing style is informative without being condesending. The book has so much more to offer than simply trying-to-concieve information (although kariva birth control is certainly very helpful in that area). I recommend this book highly!
Like Coming Home!. This is absolutely the finest book on the female reproductive system (and being in the consumer health publishing, I’ve read alot of them). I wanted to get copies for all my female family members right away. I will even encourage my gynecologist and his staff to read every single word and recommend kariva birth control to all of his patients. This should be a basic learning tool for every girl and woman; mothers should teach their daughters this along with the “birds and the bees” talk. You’ll recognize in your own bodies so much of what Dr Weschsler describes, but she puts kariva birth control all together so that you can finally see the picture in the puzzle pieces you’ve been holding all these years. It’s also a fine way to rebel against the dogma that the pharmaceutical companies have been spouting to us all these years just to sell their products. We’ve been trying to conceive for several months with no result; we can’t wait to try this technique with my next cycle! I canNOT recommend this book highly enough. You won’t regret purchasing it.
Forget kariva birth control if you are irregular. Well, don’t forget it, but kariva birth control will probably make you feel inferior. kariva birth control is a great charting primer–how to chart your cycles whether you are regular or irregular. However, kariva birth control is way too general for the other 20%(?) of us who do not have perfect 28 day cycles, obvious cervical mucus, or the same length luteal phase month after month. If you happen to have 45 day cycles, variable-day luteal phases, and no cervical mucus to speak of, then you probably have something wrong with you according to Ms. Weschler. Maybe some would find the information helpful, I just found kariva birth control frustrating. I also found some of the information conflicting with well-founded medical science. Remember–Ms. Weschler is no doctor, so take any advice she has for what it’s worth.
How enlightening!. To say it’s been an enlightening read is a huge understatement.
Whether it’s purpose is for natural birth control or pregnancy achievement, I’ve found Toni’s guide to be so sensible and effortless! I feel every woman should read it. Charting basal temperature and cervical fluid is so easy and inexpensive. I also use the companion software now available from Toni’s website [...], which makes the whole process even easier (and saves time). I like kariva birth control .
Fascinating. Michael Perry has edited a fascinating collection of rare and hard to find materials relating to Margaret Sanger and the early birth control movement. Although a major part of the book is devoted to Sanger’s Pivot of Civilization, the nearly three dozen selections from a variety of other writers (including Theodore Roosevelt, H.G. Wells, G.K. Chesterton, Victoria Woodhull Martin, and David Starr Jordan) are probably the best part of the book. Many of these essays cannot be located easily and have been long unavailable except at major research libraries. Perry does a superb job in letting the individual writers speak for kariva birth control elves. The fact that some of the writers included say outrageous things is not Perry’s fault. As someone who has read widely from the primary source materials of the era represented here, I can say that Perry’s collection is a fair-minded sampling of the range of views that existed.
Margaret Sanger & Her Supporters. …Whether Sanger was a “racist” or not depends on the meaning you attach to the word. As I note in the book, a better description of her is that she was an elitist–a characteristic she shares with many in today’s political left.
The book gives every single word of Sanger’s most intellectual book, The Pivot of Civilization. kariva birth control also includes 31 chapters with other articles from the period, mostly lengthy quotes from those who supported Sanger. They make kariva birth control clear that liberals, socialists, feminists, progressives and media outlets such as the New York Times were strong supporters of measures to reduce the birthrates of those they deemed “unfit” and “feebleminded”–typically by forced sterilization or incarcation in uni-sex institutions. They not only believed that, they were as proud of those beliefs as they are today about their support for abortion.
I quote those sources at great length to allow them to explain why as liberals, feminists, and socialists, they believed that. (The roots lie in a blend of Darwinism and pessimism.) I also let them point out that the primary opponent to their coercive agenda was the religious right–Catholics, fundamentalists and Orthodox Jews.–exactly the situation as kariva birth control stands today. I illustrate in numerous ways that when Sanger and others refer to the “feebleminded” they’re using coded language that means recent Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe, Catholics from Italy, and poor native-born whites. That’s better termed elitism than racism.
Readers are welcome to read the book and evaluate kariva birth control for themselves. I put nothing in their mouths. Roughly 80% of the book consists of lengthy quotes from Sanger and her supporters.
The book also sheds light on our present debate over legalized abortion and the zeal liberals and feminists display for providing poor black and Hispanic mothers with abortion. All that has changed is the population they target with their birth limiting measures…
The hordes of the feebleminded will destroy us all. Very interesting material. It’s reveals some of the strange ideas that were fervently held by intelligent people, such as the obsession with “feeblemindness.” I love kariva birth control .
Don’t waste your time. If you want to read Margaret Sanger’s book, read Margaret Sanger’s Pivot of Civilization, as published by Humanity Press or as available on-line, not kariva birth control chopped up attack on her book by someone with a major agenda.
Awful. kariva birth control book is awful. I am writing a thesis on Margaret Sanger and wasted my time today. I cannot believe that a university library would actually purchase kariva birth control book as it’s the most unacademic piece on Sanger I’ve read. On the first page Perry implies that Planned Parenthood promotes teen promiscuity to make profit when teens need to go back for birth control and abortions. I don’t have time to write a longer review, but just look at the other reviews! Half of them are by the author himself (which is pathetic, by the way). If you take out those reviews, there is no way kariva birth control book would have 3.5 star rating.
No Limitations on Printing or Copying. Those who’re doing in-depth research on Margaret Sanger and the organization she founded, Planned Parenthood, will find this an excellent resource. With kariva birth control you can save hours in the library and still create a paper that’ll impress your teacher. kariva birth control has all of Sanger’s 1922 bestseller PLUS 31 chapters of other articles from the period to put what she was saying in “historical perspective.” This book is not only less expensive than other versions, kariva birth control includes far more material.
Ignore Amazon’s boilerplate about “most publishers” not allowing printing. This publisher does. And all digital management features that can be turned off are off. You can print unlimited pages unlimited times. You can copy and paste text into what you’re writing rather than laborously retype it.
Also, this is the single-column “Screen Version” designed to be easily read on screen. There’s also a more compact, double-column print version available. Just search Amazon for the (fake) ISBN: B000BKKPN6
Anti Birth Control Slant Makes kariva birth control Book a Piece of Trash. I not only want my money back, I want the author to pay me for the time I spent reading kariva birth control piece of trash. If you are one of the ten people in the world who believes that birth control pills should be outlawed, kariva birth control book is for you. But if you were born with a brain, then don’t waste your money on kariva birth control book.
Also an ebook. This book is an excellent resource for students doing school papers. You not only get the original, you get the complete text of all sorts of source material from the period, so you can put what Sanger was saying in context from a dozen different angles. In a few hours, you can turn out a paper that looks like you spent a week researching in a university library!
If you’re in a hurry or your budget is tight, check out the ebook under “Product Details, In Print Editions.” Despite the Amazon boilerplate, none of the digital rights management is activated. You can copy, print and cut-and-paste to your heart’s content.
Actually, there should be two ebook versions available. The “print version” is double-column and small type to cut down on printing costs. The “screen version” is single-column with larger type to make kariva birth control easier to read on-screen. The content is the same. The first comes from the paperback version of the book, the second from the hardback version.
Biased Perspective. To begin with The Pivot of Civilization in Historical Perspective: The Birth Control Classic by Margaret Sanger, edited by Michael Perry is a misleading title. Of the 263 pages, we don’t get to Sanger’s volume until page 178. In other words the “historical perspective” takes up more than half of the volume. In addition, these 178 pages consist of articles carefully selected to cast Sanger and the birth control movement in the most negative light. kariva birth control purports to give the true history of the birth control movement, but in fact is designed to demonstrate that eugenics is “a kissing cousin of birth control” and to reveal Sanger’s “real agenda.”
In Perry’s view Sanger’s “real agenda was: “Coercion,” which he writes is “one step short of compulsion,” and “means that you narrow someone’s choices, so those targeted feel that they have only one option–not having a child.” (p. 12). With this purpose, Perry includes articles designed to support his very arguable thesis, and then includes a transcription of Sanger’s Pivot of Civilization. And even this is not free of Perry’s intrusiveness, as he adds his own opinion (often without any substantiating evidence) on what Sanger meant at every key point. And in case the reader might overlook what he has decided are the most damning sentences, he puts them in boldface.
Finally Perry’s editorial comments are fraught with errors and omissions as when he writes on pg. 156 of Sanger’s article “An Answer to Mr. Roosevelt” that “An interlibrary search did not locate this article in the December issue of Metropolitan Magazine as claimed. But Ellen Chesler, Woman of Valor (p. 508) says kariva birth control appeared on page 66.” As Chesler is a good researcher, her information is correct — the article did appear in Metropolitan Magazine in Dec. 1917 under the headline “Birth Control Margaret Sanger’s Reply to Theodore Roosevelt” as a letter to the editor.
If readers want to read Sanger’s PIVOT OF CIVILZATION, I suggest they check their libraries and find a copy of her original 1922 version or go online and get kariva birth control from PROJECT GUTENBURG.

OMG WTF????. AFTER READING kariva birth control “BOOK” THE ONLY THING I CAME AWAY WITH WAS THAT THE AUTHOR IS CLEARLY INSANE.
$160. More valuable used than new. I shudder to think what kariva birth control was used for to sanctify kariva birth control and thus increase the value.
Unloading my feelings about this book. I found that reading this book was quite an epiphany. In fact, reading this book was a lot like dating my last girlfriend – both were overpriced, and all I got out of kariva birth control was a sore wrist.
Finally1. This is one of the better books I’ve read all in caps on the subject. I am thankful that Amazon has given voice that so many crazy people shouting at traffic don’t have.
I was initially concerned due to the disclaimer “THIS BOOK MAY BE REVISED: BECAUSE OF COMPUTER DICTATORS” and worry for the safety of the author. Has the robot uprising/rapture begun? No need to worry, the message is to not use birth control and seek repentance, in that order? I will try kariva birth control both ways and see if the sex is hotter, or the repentance. Based on the results I would like the challenge the author to a karate match and we will see who is filled with the Holy Spirit.
Perfect for when you like kariva birth control all uppercase-y. Say what you will about this book, but kariva birth control is a DIRECT MESSAGE FROM GOD that was sent to this woman. She dutifully typed kariva birth control all down. Bless her.
ALSO, GOD DEMANDED SHE PUT kariva birth control IN UPPERCASE! THAT WASN’T HER DECISION! GOD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS – ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO TYPOGRAPHY.
Abstinence!. The Title V Welfare Reform Act and its millions of dollars of funding to abstinence education groups has taught me that abstinence from sexual activity is an excellent form of birth control. In fact, kariva birth control is *the* most effective form of birth control. Thanks to this book, it’s clear to me that abstinence from sexual activity is a really bad decision.
Excellent instructional. But is kariva birth control too good?. I’ve found this book to be extremely helpful for me in helping me beat back my disgusting urges for the sinful, tempting, curvaceous, sweaty, heaving bodies of women. By reading this I’ve learned to understand that fornication is only for procreation not for the unbridled enjoyment kariva birth control otherwise provides. Having sex without making babies is akin to eating a large, moist, hot, panting piece of chocolate cake without washing your plate afterwards. Where is the fun in that?
Two small quibbles: One, the book may encourage folks to forego christian marriages to try out a less restrictive religious marriage in order to partake in non-productive sex. Two, I’ve found that my strident recommendations of this book to all women I happen to look at that may tempt me with their swaying, rhythmic, hypnotic hips (which ends up being every woman I see. Succubi!) have kept me from being able to form a relationship with a woman, carnal or otherwise, for years. Perhaps this book itself is a form of birth control, which would then mean this book, too, is sinful.
RENEWED: MY FAITH >: IN PUNCTUATION. kariva birth control BOOK HAS GIVEN ME A NEW LEASE ON LIFE: I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD USE > PUNCTUATION > IN kariva birth control WAY BEFORE: BUT NOW THE HOLYSPIRIT HAS GIVEN ME THE ABILITY TO> CHALLENGE SOCIAL PUNCTUATIONAL NORMS!! PRAISE JESUS!!
Do Nocturnal Emissions Count?. THANK YOU EVANGELIST ELIZABETH YANNE STRONG ANDERSON! I have finally seen the error of my ways! I am so glad your courageous literary book of CAPSLOCK excellence has literally dropped into my hands before my twin boys reach puberty. I am now a believer and have chosen to consecrate my entire family in the one true religion of BCISITCMAARBOPC.
As you might imagine, the encroaching puberty of my sons has me quite concerned about those uncontrollable nocturnal emissions. I fear for their immortal souls. Therefore, I have chosen to attach electrodes from my newly invented Sperm Stopper 2000 (patent pending) to their genitals at bedtime. Should, God forbid, a single seed be dropped they will be shocked into unconsciousness to prevent any further emissions until they regain consciousness around noon the next day. I will NOT be thwarted in these efforts even if the evil conspirators of the Computer Dictators try to stop me! I am totally committed to the cause!
Further, should my husband get that look in his eyes by a mere glance at my saddlebags, I have created a portable version of the Sperm Stopper 2000 (patent pending) to give him a jolt on the go. If I see my husband getting some fancy notions while driving home from an exhilarating day of shopping at the local WalMart, I will deploy the portable version of the Sperm Stopper 2000 (patent pending) thus rendering him unconscious and killing all of us by running the family truck into a ditch.
For, with your direct connection to the Holy Spir kariva birth control I know you will hear the screams of my burning children as they die a slow and painful death and speak directly to Jesus to let him know we’re coming home as true believers.
Of course, after we’re dead, we will no longer be able to assist you in the crusade. Therefore, I am leaving in your capable Karate chopping hands the patent to the Sperm Shocker 2000 so that you and the Holy Spir kariva birth control may reap the profits and continue your mission one shock at a time.
Unnecessary for those who have a face like a dropped meat pie. Despite being written entirely in BLOCK CAPITALS, this self-published work conveys its message elegantly. In fact, you don’t even need to read kariva birth control to understand the main argument being put forward.
Great for their intended purpose. These are great. My wife didn’t like the loss of feeling from latex condoms. These provide an excellent alternative to synthetic condoms. I would recommend kariva birth control to anyone NOT concerned about STDs. For those concerned with STDs stick to latex condoms, less feeling but much safer.
Much cheaper here!. Price much better than in the pharmacy, get more for your money. I have sensitive skin and these do not irritate me at all. Also, they are a much better f kariva birth control for men more “well endowed”.
Ultimate Sensitivity . Naturalamb condoms are by far the most sensitive condoms on the market. As they are made from a lamb’s intestine, they give you a more natural feeling, like you’re not wearing a condom at all. They are one of the best kept secrets in the world of condoms. Believe kariva birth control or not, some women – like my wife, actually get irritated by latex condoms, which means they are less interested in sex due to the thought of future discomfort. Since I switched to Naturalamb a few years ago, we have sex more frequently. [...]
First time use, and pretty much last time as well. If u dont hav special requirement for condom, like allergy of latex…. i dont think this one is a good choice, first of all, the small of kariva birth control is not that lovely, pretty much turned us down at the moment u open it. And worst part u have to hold kariva birth control when u r “out” to take kariva birth control out, if not u would hav the danger to get out the “glory hole” fully naked! Bought kariva birth control just for curiosity, but pretty much not again!
almost as good as nothing. worth the money.
Feels almost as good as nothing in between. None of the different types of latex ones come close.
I like kariva birth control .
Word to the wise.. My first sexual expierance was a disaster, I didnt know I was allergic to laytex! Since then, I have used Naturalamb condoms.
I really feel that kariva birth control is important to stress that these condoms DO NOT protect against STDs. More importantly I would like to know why! I love this product but with all the advances in medical study, Why cant they come up with something to protect Laytex sensitive users???
So BE WARNED! these DO protect against pregnacy but, NOT against STDs.
This condom is extremely thin and feels very …. kariva birth control condom is extremely thin and feels very comfortable and sensitive. It’s also well lubricated and gives me much more pleasure than the other brands I’ve used before. I’m very satisfied with these condoms and would definitely get more for myself and my wife when we are out of them.
There ok. there pretty good but the feel sort of weird need to get to used kariva birth control and they’re expensive but they work but there really strange i much rather use any other brand but if i have to i’d use this
Happy with ALEEGOLD. I needed these before I go on vacation and I got them three days after ordering, My review is: kariva birth control is a great product delivered promptly, as a consumer that’s what I expect.
EXCELLENT!!. kariva birth control is an EXCELLENT condom! I have tried several types that say they are the thinnest and provide the best feeling. They don’t even come CLOSE to these! They are by far are the best condoms I have ever tried! My wife and I give them TWO Thumbs up!
